Arrive In Uganda | Murchison Falls

On your arrival in Uganda, you will be picked by our Kubwa Five Safari staff with your name printed on an A4 paper from Entebbe International Airport in the morning hours and be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park. The vehicle leaves you near the falls and you will hike from the top of the falls to the bottom. It is an exciting experience that brings you very close to the rushing whitewater as it squeezes itself through the narrow crevicebelow.

Morning Game Drive

Embark on an early morning game drive on the Northern bank where your guide will help you spot a great number of animals and birds. you will watch more than 73 animal species, including buffaloes, leopards, lions, and elephant. You will end back at the lodge for lunch and rest till 2 pm for an afternoon boat ride. You will safari upstream by boat to the calm Victoria Nile and the base of the falls. You will go for an evening game drive after your boat ride.

Travel to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you will travel from Murchison Falls National park, driving Southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom. You will visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves and the three surrounding explosions Crater Lakes. A side-trip to the Amabere Caves and the three nearby Crater Lakes will be a time of hiking and learning about the local culture.

Kibale Forest Camp.

Chimpanzee Tracking

Kibale National Park; a haven with the largest concentration of chimpanzees which is about 4950 chimpanzees andit holds about 1500 chimpanzees. The tracking will start early after breakfast and takes about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimps. After the trek, you will go back to the resort for lunch and then visit Bigodi Swamp. After visiting Bigodi, you will drive to Sempaya hot springs which are the main attraction of Semliki National Park.

Travel To Queen Elizabeth

After breakfast, you will go to Queen Elizabeth National park. The Park is the largest biotic area in Africa. You will check-in at your hotel for lunch, and then head out for a boat ride. Enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Some of the best wildlife viewings are done on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Later, go for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Engiri Game Lodge.

Travel To Ishasha Sector

After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains. After the game drive in Ishasha, it is time to move to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the famous mountain gorillas. Lunch you will be served at your hotel. It is a great opportunity to try out western Uganda’s Matooke (plantain-type bananas) and roasted goat meat if you are not vegetarian. Dinner and Overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp.

Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, head out to the park head offices with your guide, have a briefing about the Do’s and Don’ts while in the park with gorillas. trekking can take 2 hours or up to 6 hours. Make sure you carry enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets. At the end of this long and exciting adventure, return to our lodge for a well-deserved shower, and then have lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale.,

Stopover At Equator

After your breakfast, you will be driven to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator in Masaka. After reaching Kampala, you will then be transferred to the Entebbe Airport for your flight back home. N.B: This trip accepts children who are 3 years and above. However, only children with 15 years and above can trek the Mountain Gorillas and Chimpanzee. So, for children who are 14 years and below, each child will get a discount of USD 700 off.
