Enjoy a beautiful drive over the mountains as we transfer to our base in Kisoro, you will have a relaxing moment as we prepare for the Gorilla trek ahead.

Nairobi city (JKIA) - Kozi Suites
Today you will be picked up at the airport and given a pre-departure meeting on your way to hotel. Check in for your hotel have a time to relax. Pick you up for your Giraffe Centre. In the latter evening dinner at seven at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. The trip can also start straight away from the Airport to the Maasai Mara depending on your arrival time. Meanwhile, you will be dropped off at your hotel where you can relax and prepare to start your safari with a fresh mind.

Check out of your hotel and drive via Narok Town to Mara Reserve, the land of the Maa. The proud, young warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears will challenge your curiosity. This 700-square mile game reserve is the Africa you know from your dreams complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve and return to camp before dark.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

After your breakfast, you will leave with your picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in the reserve in search of the Big Five as well as other numerous plain animals. You will have a lunch break in the reserve after which continue with your game drive. Maasai Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration.

Maasai Reserve - Lake Nakuru

You will ascend the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley, where lush coffee and tea plantations dot the landscape. You will arrive in Lake Nakuru in time for lunch, after which you will set off for a game drive in the park in search of the Big 5: lions, rhinos, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. Lake Nakuru is also famous for its millions of flamingoes and migrant birds that dot its shores. In fact, Nakuru has over 425 different bird species. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Lake Nakuru National Park - Jinja
You will depart Nakuru for Jinja, driving across the Malaba border. You will pass by the source of the Nile River, the world’s longest. It begins its journey here before crossing through African countries and plunging into the Mediterranean Sea. Jinja town is regarded as the adventure capital of East Africa. This a place brimming with adventure sports and activities, including white water rafting, bungee jumping, and kayaking. We do encourage our client to have their boat ride for an extra.

Jinja Town - Lake Bunyonyi
After your breakfast you will drive down to Kabale, witnessing beautiful, lush scenery along the way. We will camp at Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s deepest crater lake. Bunyonyi means “place of the little birds”, so you can expect to view interesting and unique birdlife while staying here. Enjoy a beautiful drive over the mountains as we transfer to our base in Kisoro, which sits on the southwestern tip of Uganda. This is an excellent place to rest before your gorilla trek.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Today we embark on the experience of a lifetime. Trek through the early morning mist in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, which is home to roughly half of the world's 700 remaining mountain gorillas. Experienced local guides will lead you through the thick mountain jungle. Once we locate the gorillas, we will stay and observe them for about an hour. Photography is permitted, although not with the use of flash (there are also restrictions on the use of video cameras).

Pygmy Village Visit
Today, you will have your morning breakfast and then take a guided walk to visit locals in the community. You will have the option to visit with the local Batwa community or go canoeing on the lake. Return to the camp in time for lunch, after which you will be free to relax or take a walk in the community. Overnight will be at the Bunyonyi Overland Resort.

Kabale Uganda - Jinja Town
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala, eating lunch enroute. You will arrive in the city by evening. Check in to your hotel and spend some time enjoying some of the nightlife this city has to offer. Return to the hotel for your overnight stay at Paradise Jinja Hotel.

Jinja Town - L Naivasha National
After breakfast, head south, passing through Naivasha town and drive around the southern end of the lake, past the flower farms to the entrance of Hell’s Gate National Park. Soon after you enter the park the impressive landscape unfolds before you a semi-arid world with sheer rugged cliffs, open plains, and deep concealed gorges. An afternoon boat ride at extra cost among colonies of hippos will be ideal view over the Lake Naivasha.

We depart to Amboseli via Nairobi in the morning after breakfast and drive south through Masai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. After a picnic lunch enroute with the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife animals like lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and various plains platues game, postcard perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed and finally you will return to your hotel.

You'll rise up early for your breakfast with a backdrop of a good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds build up over the summit with packed lunch provided. Spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. We may opt for a visit to Maasai Village through visit, reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.
