Pick up and transfer to hotel
Arrive in Entebbe following the flight from your country of origin. Land at Entebbe international airport the main gate way to the pearl of Africa where you will find a company representative of Avelisa tours and travel dedicated to offer you a courteous welcome to the pearl of Africa. After a short briefing 11 days Uganda safari days Uganda safari, you will connect to the hotel in Entebbe for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Mabamba bay wetlands, transfer to
After breakfast, head out to Mabamba swamp. Its an extensive papyrus stretching through along narrow bay fringed with papyrus towards the western main body of Lake Victoria.it is classified as an important Bird Area and a home to Pink-backed Pelican, Long-tailed Cormorant, Goliath Heron, Saddle-billed, and Marabou Storks, Hammer kop, White-faced Whistling-Duck, Yellow-billed Duck, African Fish-Eagle etc. Later in the afternoon, we drive to Kibale Forest N. Park for dinner and overnight.

Birding in Kibale N park, the primate capital of Africa with 13 species. Also Kibale N.P. offers a birding experience with more than 350 bird species of which 4 are endemic to the region like blue headed bee eater, Nahan’s francolin, the masked apalis, & Cassin’s spinal tail. We shall look for species such as Afep Pigeon,Green-breasted Pitta, etc. After,we will go for Lunch. In the afternoon we shall go for birding on a nature walk to Bigodi wetland. Later, we shall have Dinner & overnight

Transfer to Semliki National park

After breakfast we will transfer to Semliki national park It is a true birders haven with over 450 bird species 46 guinea Congo biome bird species,5 species of Albertine rift endemic species, After you will check in at the lodge for lunch & then head for evening birding. Look for species like Spot-Breasted Ibis, Chestnut-flanked Goshawk, Long-tailed , Western Bronze-napped Pigeon, Black-collared Lovebird, Yellow-throated Cuckoo, Red-Chested Owlet. Return to the lodge for dinner & overnight.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth N.P

After breakfast we will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park a home to a plethora of bird life . The most comprehensive checklist of any protected area in east Africa is attributed to rich variety of Eco system from dense tropical forest of Kyambura gorge to the wetland habitats of Lake Edward and George. Bird en-route through the northern side of Rwenzori Mountains as connect to Queen Elizabeth national park and then check in at the lodge in evening for dinner and overnight.

Early morning game drive,afternoon
After breakfast, a morning game drive and birding.After,have Lunch at the lodge & go for the boat launch on Kazinga Channel in the afternoon where we shall see a variety of wildlife and bird life . Additionally, a variety of game such as hundreds of hippos, crocodiles.Other animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, Uganda Kob, Bush buck,Yellow billed stork, etc.. Later in the evening after the boat head for an evening drive for Night jars after which we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Early morning transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home for gorillas & is a true birders paradise. Drive to Bwindi impenetrable via Ishasha with enroute birding & lunch. At Ishasha, we shall see a variety of Game including climbing lions, Elephants Buffaloes. In the evening, we shall bird around the lodge on arrival for species like Ross’s Turaco, Jackson’s Pipit, Red-headed love bird,Fish Eagles, Shining Blue King fisher etc. after we return to the lodge for dinner & overnight

After Breakfast, bird along the main trail for species like Red-throated Alethe, Archer’s Robin chat, Kivu Ground Thrush, Montane Masked Apalis, Short-tailed Warbler, Red-faced Woodland Warbler, Yellow-eyed Black Flycatcher, Western Bronze-napped Pigeon and others. Later after lunch transfer to Ruhizha via “the neck” birding en-route.Dinner and overnight at Tavern Trekkers.

After breakfast, we will walk down with packed lunch to Mubwindi swamp looking for species like the green Broad bill, Grauer’s Rush warbler, Evergreen Forest Warbler, Dwarf Honey-guide, Grey Chested , Cabanis’ Greenbul, Mt.Greenbul, Sharps Barred Long Tailed Cuckoo, Starling, Oriole Finch, the incredible Purple-breasted Sunbird, Slender-billed, Wallers, Narrow-tailed and Stuhlmann’s Starlings,Red-faced, Abyssinian and Shelley’s Crimson wings, Strange weaver . Return for dinner and overnight

Transfer to Lake Mburo
Depart for Lake Mburo National Park situated a home to 350 species of birds like rare shoebill, grey crowned crested crane, brown chested wattled plover, greater cormorant, Ross’s turaco . Additionally Lake Mburo is a home to wildlife mammals explored on game drive like zebra, giraffes, elands, buffaloes, reed bucks, klips pringer, topi, and leopards among others. Bird enroute as you connect to the park in the western part of the country birding en-route. Dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Camp.

After breakfast,take an early morning boat ride in search of African Fin foot and other water birds. Look out for Brown-chested Plover, Spot-Flanked, Red-faced and White Headed Barbets, Coqui’s, Carruthers’ Cisticola, Sulphur Breasted Bush Shrike, Tabora cist cola, white winged tit Nubian wood pecker, Black Billed Wood Dove Green backed pecker, Yellow-billed Ox peckers and Northern Brown –throated. After lunch drive back to Entebbe. Arrive and check in the hotel for dinner and overnight
