This is a10 days/ 9 nights safari that starts and ends in Entebbe. This safari takes us to Bwindi impenetrable national park for the exclusive gorilla tracking and the Batwa cultural encounter.
Bwindi impenetrable national park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda. The park is a home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas and its also good destination for birding; it’s a home to over 350 bird species.
This safari also includes canoeing on the beautiful lake Bunyonyi known as the little Switzerland of Africa. The lake is the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika. It’s free from bilhazia and does not have dangerous animals like crocodiles and hippos making it safe for swimming in your relaxation time. The lake is dotted with 29 islands and a destination for birding.
The safari also takes for a wildlife encounter and a launch cruise in Lake Mburo national park located in the south western part of Uganda. The park is the closest park to the capital city of Uganda. It has 5 lakes bordering it with Lake Mburo being the biggest lake out of the 5. The park is good for walking safaris since it does not have elephants and lions making it easy to do a walking safari to have clear views of wildlife. The park is also a home to over 350 bird species.

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, our guide will be waiting to give you a warm welcome to the pearl of Africa, brief you about the safari, and then transfer you to your hotel were you will relax and prepare for tomorrows adventurous safari, have dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable NP

Start the day with a cup of tea and embark on a journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park in the south western part of Uganda. The drive is so scenic with rolling hills, the landscape, local home states, plantations. Have a stopover at the equator for photo shoots and the water experiment then proceed with the journey to Igongo cultural centre for lunch then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park. We will reach in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Gorilla tracking

Bwindi Impenetrable

After breakfast, have our lunch packed and transfer to the park head quarters for a briefing from the guide about gorilla tracking, after the briefing; he will lead us into the forest. The tracking takes about 2-8 hours. Once the gorillas are sighted, you will spend one hour with them watching them play, feed their young ones, males making their territories, and have a photo shoot moments of these gentle apes when your flash is off. Retire from the activity for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Batwa forest experience and nature

Bwindi Impenetrable

After breakfast will go for Batwa forest experience. The Batwa are people who lived in the forest with mountain gorillas for years and years. You will get to know how the Batwa lived and hunted, learn about medicinal plants, you will hear traditional songs and stories, Return for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon embark on a nature walk in the Muyanga waterfall trail starting from Buhoma,leading to the three beautiful waterfalls, Return for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Kibale

After having breakfast in the morning, check out and transfer to the beautiful lake Bunyonyi. The drive is so scenic with views of rolling hills of Kigezi high lands. On your arrival, settle for lunch and relax. In the afternoon, undertake a canoe ride on the lake and visit some of the main islands on the lake like the Akampane Island, the upside down island among others, enjoy breath taking views of the lush high lands Return for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Nature walk and community encounte

Kibale

Start your day with a cup of coffee and undertake a nature walk hiking on top of the highlands surrounding the lake having access to incredible view points of the lake. The walk passes through local communities and terraces. Return for lunch and relaxation. In the late afternoon, undertake a community encounter with the locals who are very welcoming, you will meet and learn about their way of living, their culture among others. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Lake Mburo national pa

After having breakfast, check out and transfer to Lake Mburo national park. The drive has wonderful scenic views of the land scape, rolling hills, plantations, local markets among others. You will have a stopover at Igongo cultural centre for a delicious lunch and proceed with the journey to Lake Mburo national park. On your arrival, you will check in and relax and have a guided nature walk. Return for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Game drive and a launch cruise

Lake Mburo

After breakfast at 6:30 am, embark on a game drive in the park for wildlife encounter. Expect to sight animals and different birds ,You will have photo shoots of wildlife. Retire from the activity for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, undertake a launch cruise on lake Mburo offering views of the amazing flora and fauna, crocodiles, hippos and different bird species such as African fish eagles, pelican, kingfishers, among others. Return to the lodge for relaxation, diner and overnight.

Transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe

Lake Mburo

After having breakfast in the morning, you will check out and embark on your journey back to Kampala with scenic views of the landscape, local markets, and banana plantations among others. You will have a lunch stopover at equator line restaurant for lunch after which we proceed with our journey to Kampala/ Entebbe. We will reach in the late evening, check in, relax and have dinner.
