This is a 3days/ 2nights sport fishing and wildlife safari to Lake Mburo national park located conveniently close to the high way that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda the park features magical savannah grass and woodland with acacia. it is the best place in Uganda to sight the common eland (the second largest antelope in the world) the park has over 315 bird species and 68 mammal species including cape buffaloes, Burchell’s zebras, Rothschild’s giraffes, impalas, Defassa waterbucks, leopards and many more.
There are 5 lakes bordering the park and the largest in Lake Mburo a home to hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water birds. Lake Mburo contains 6 fish species including the tilapia and the fishing exploration will be carried out at Maziga sport fishing spot. Transfer to Lake Mburo, stopover

Lake Mburo

Start the day with breakfast and checkout of your hotel and embark on 3-4hours drive to lake Mburo national park . Have a stopover at Uganda equator crossing at Kayabwe for an amazing photo shoots and the water experiment to justify the geographical separation between the northern and southern hemisphere. We proceed to Masaka town before approaching Lyantonde. On arrival, check in at the lodge and settle for lunch after connect to Rwonyo jetty for an afternoon boat cruise on lake Mburo .

Whole day fishing adventure

Lake Mburo

After breakfast embark on a whole day sport fishing adventure on the scenic lake Mburo. The lake has 6 different fish species including tilapia, lung fish and mud fish. The anglers are required to bring their own fishing equipment. You will have a variety of wildlife . The shores have crocodiles & birds, hippos are permanent residents of the lake, bird species like the rare shoebill, hammerkop, African fish eagles, Rufus long-tailed etc. Retreat for relaxation dinner and overnight.
