This 5 days/4nights adventure takes you to Jinja and Sipi falls. Jinja is known as the adventurous city of east Africa, it’s located in the eastern region of Uganda on the northern shores of Lake Victoria Africa’s largest lake and the second largest fresh water body in the world. Jinja is a home to the source of the Nile river “the longest river in the world” the Nile is the major geographical superlatives on earth;it has been an outstanding natural land feature.Jinja is one of the best white water rafting destinations in the world.
Sipi falls is located in the eastern part of Uganda there found on the foot hills on mountain Elgon just at the edge of mountain Elgon national park nearing the boarder of Uganda and Kenya. The falls are comprised of 3 waterfalls each flowing from a different altitude, the highest is at 100m and its referred to as the main fall. All falls give Uganda a beautiful scenery and most people refer to them as the most romantic falls in Uganda which is evidenced by the wonderful falls. Hiking up the falls gives you beautiful scenic views of Lake Kyoga, the Karamoja low lands, coffee plantations and other surrounding areas.

Itinerary
Transfer to the source Nile
The source of the Nile river is a quiet beautiful place filled with palm trees, fantastic tropical plants and as you walk down the steps towards the river Nile, you can smell the flowers, as you stand on the Nile, hear the gurgling water, watch local fishermen through their nets in water. The boat ride is a rewarding adventure as it exposes you to opportunities of exploring counts of birds including beautiful kingfishers. Retreat from the activity for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

White water rafting on the R.Nile
After having your breakfast, you go for white water rafting where you will first be briefed and given rafting gears. The opportunity to do whitewater rafting from the longest river on earth is amazing its one of the best things to do in Uganda. The activity takes you in the middle of the river while passing through chaotic and turbulent rapids. The Nile rapids in Jinja are graded 4 and 5 which offers the best whitewater rafting experiences in Uganda.

Transfer to Sipi falls
After breakfast, you will embark on a 196km journey to Sipi falls taking you about 3-4 hours. On your arrival you will have lunch then have a community encounter where you will meet with the locals and interact with them, get to know their way of living, and their music, dance and drama. You will return for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Hiking the 3 waterfalls
After breakfast in the morning, you will meet up with the guide for a briefing then start hiking the falls; you will be given a walking stick before you start the hike. Hiking the 3 waterfalls takes between 3-4. The hike on the top is about 7km, it involves steep ascents, climbing ladders and passing through local farms. It’s advisable to acquire good hiking boots that have a firm grip on the ground. When you’re at the top, you will have clear scenic views of Lake Kyoga

Arabica coffee tour transfer back
After having your breakfast, undertake a coffee tour that will take you to a local coffee farmer where you will visit the coffee plantations and head to the processing centre where you will remove the husks roast, the beans and produce a fresh cup of coffee and enjoy it. Retreat from the activity for lunch and then embark on your journey back to Kampala.
