At the foot of Kilimanjaro, Ndoro Waterfall (Marangu Waterfall) is one of the most popular and largest waterfalls in the area. About an hour walk descending through the stunning green landscapes of the Chagga country (the largest tribe in Tanzania) brings you to this huge waterfall, here you have the opportunity to stand under the Ndoro waterfall, even jump from one and to go swim in the refreshing waters and take a well-deserved lunch break in the beautiful valley. This is a beautiful and relatively easy hike through the rainforest that grows at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. You can see different species of monkeys (black and white colobus), tropical birds and many others. The journey takes about six to seven hours.
