Kampala - Murchison Falls National

Murchison Falls

Enjoy breakfast at your place of accommodation early in the morning before hitting the road northwards for the most beautiful protected area in Uganda: Murchison Falls National Park. This park is located about 300 kilometers north of Kampala, passing through the famous Luwero, with a lunch stop at Kabalega dinners. We later proceed on entering the park through the northern side, Karuma Falls and later to Tangi gate, arriving in the evening and check in to the service of our accommodation.

After breakfast, we start our game drive on the Northern sector of the park, in search for wildlife that includes buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, oribis, hart beasts, Kobs, warthogs, lions, etc woodland birds can be seen. We drive back to the Lodge, relax for a while, have lunch and then at 2:00pm we go for the boat cruise for another view of the wildlife as they draw down the river bank to cool off. Schools of hippos, crocodile, buffaloes, etc and a variety of water birds can be seen.

Murchison - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

After breakfast, with your packed lunch, you will do another game drive in Murchison falls national park, before transferring to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the home of Rhinos in Uganda. The sanctuary is located about 176 km from Kampala on the Gulu highway and sits on 70 square kilometers of land and was formally a private ranch. So we do the Rhino trekking, arriving in the evening and in to the service of your accommodation, dinner and overnight.

Ziwa Rhino Lodge

Transfer to Kampala.

After breakfast you will go for the Rhino trekking, come back to the lodge for lunch and then transfer to Kampala. You will later be dropped off at your Hotel in Entebbe or Kampala or you will be dropped of directly at the airport for your flight to your next destination depending on your program.
