The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a large primeval forest located in south-western Uganda in the Kanungu District. The Bwindi forest is on the edge of the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift, at elevations ranging from 1,160 to 2,607 metres (3,806 to 8,553 ft). The forest contains around 160 species of trees and over 100 species of ferns.

Pick up from Airport or Hotel
Bwindi Impenetrable
You will be welcomed/received by our company representative who will be your guide/driver and will brief you about your 3 days gorilla tracking tour after which you will embark on your journey to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With lunch enroute, you will have a stopover at the Uganda Equator for the water experiment, photographs as well visit the cultural shops within the area after which continue with our journey to the park with short breaks along the way to stretch up.

After breakfast, you will be transfered to the park offices to be there by 7:30 for the briefing by the park rangers about the does and don'ts during the tracking. At 8am you will enter into the forest to track the gorillas which may take 4-6hrs depending on your tracking group. You will spend one hour with them and head back to your lodge. You will then head for the community walk in the surrounding area of the park visiting the cultural shops and getting to interact with the Batwa people

Departure.
After an early breakfast at your lodge, with your luggage, you will check out of your service of accommodation/lodge and your guide/driver will transfer you back to Entebbe for your flight to your next destination or drop you off at your hotel depending on your program. With lunch enroute and short breaks you will have another stopover at the equator and later proceed arriving in Entebbe in the evening hours and later drop you off at the airport for your next destination.
