This Murchison Falls Safari Uganda avails you an experience of the world’s strongest water fall. Locally known as the kabalega falls, they are found in the one largest national park of the pearl of Africa. Covering an area of 3,840 sq. km, gazetted in 1926 as a game reserve and in 1952 as a national park, Uganda’s mighty park is situated in the northwestern part of the country. Murchison Falls is home to over 451 bird species such as the Great blue Turaco, Goliath heron, the Shoebill, and the dwarf kingfisher among others, 76 mammal species including the four of the big five, a big number of aquatic animals and above all the magnificent and thunderous Murchison Falls squeezing their way through a gorge that is 8m wide. The park is also endowed with diverse vegetation, savanna grassland and savanna woodland being dominant. The Whispering waters of the Victoria Nile flowing through harbor all time starving Nile crocodiles and hippos, thus also separating the park into two (the northern and southern bank).
