Itinerary

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will depart from Arusha/Moshi after breakfast. You will be picked up from your lodge and have a straight drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. On arrival, proceed with a game drive in the middle of the park and observe big herds of elephants till late in the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.

Tarangire Park - Lake Eyas

Early in the morning, our tour will start from Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara. Here you will be able to see an unlimited number of birds as well as the wild animals found at this park. Tree-climbing lions are one of the animals that uniquely identify this park. In the afternoon, you'll transfer to our private bush camp beside Lake Eyasi.

Hunting Skills at Lake Eyasi

At dawn, you'll have an early wake-up call in order to see the Hazabe bushman begin their day. You will try your hand at starting a fire using nothing but a stick. You can even head off with some of the men and boys on a hunting posy. . If you have been successful in the hunt, you'll have a local bush breakfast adorned with fur and feathers. Then you'll return to the camp for a real breakfast and to freshen up. In the afternoon, you will visit the Datoga Tribes return to the camp

Lake Eyasi to Serengeti

After breakfast, you'll drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Crater with a game view en route. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp. Serengeti is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. It is famed for its annual migration when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 Zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.

SerengetiPark to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you'll have a game drive as you go out of the Serengeti. You'll be heading back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Continue to the crater rim and onto the NCAA HQ where you'll pick a ranger who will accompany you on a nature walk at the crater rim. Late in the afternoon, head to Rhino Lodge located just off the Ngorongoro Crater rim, Here you'll enjoy your dinner and overnight rest.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Today you'll descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. While in the crater you will be able to see the Big Five animals like lions, rhino and elephants. Ngorongoro is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, and its 304 sq km floor is the ultimate ‘Big Five’ destination. It's home to the elephant, lion, leopard, black rhino, buffalo and others. The caldera holds over 25000 different species of animals. . One of these, Oldoinyo Lengai, is still active. Later drive to Arusha.
