Arusha/Moshi-Rongai Gate
Kilimanjaro
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha to Marangu Gate to get your climbing permit. From there, proceed with your journey passing through villagers where people grow potatoes, vegetables, maize, etc. Picnic lunch will be served before arriving at Simba Camp. It is possible to see Black and White colobus monkeys during your hike. The scenery is the most beautiful way up to the camp. Hiking time: 3hours Hiking distance 7 km

Simba Camp to Kikelelwa Camp 3600m

Leave Simba cave early morning after breakfast, spend the long day hiking while enjoying nature. You will have your lunch on the way before reaching Kikelelwa camp where you spend your night. Hiking time: 5hours Hiking distance 11 km

Kikelelwa to Mawenzi Turn Hut 4315
Kilimanjaro
Today the trail is very short but steeper, you will climb through the grassy slope. It is a beautiful day to enjoy taking photos before and after arriving at the camp for lunch. Spend the afternoon at the camp enjoying the beautiful wilderness area and an amazing view of Mawenzi. Hiking time: 2hours Hiking distance 3 km

Mawenzi camp to Kibo Hut 4720m
Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, continue ascending on the east side of Kibo crossing the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo, spend about 4 to 5 hours to reach Kibo Hut. This evening you will get your dinner earlier to prepare for your final ascent, which begins at midnight. Your guides will meet for a summit briefing before you go to sleep. Carefully listen and follow the advice from your guides for a successful summit.

Kibo Hut to Summit Uhuru peak 5895

Wake up before midnight around 22.00-24.00 hrs it is when we begin to the peak of Africa, with the thousands of loose volcanic scree spreading everywhere and a slow but steady pace that will take us to the rim of the main crater, Gillman’s 5,685 m. Those who are still feeling good can make the three-hour round trip along the crater rim to Uhuru peak 5,895 m. which is the highest point in Africa. After a few minutes to appreciate your accomplishment we descend from Kibo Hut to Horombo

After the last breakfast on the mountain, you will descend about 5 to 6 hours back to Marangu Gate. Your guide will collect your certificates on arrival check out and be ready to drive back to your hotel in Arusha for a shower and celebrations. Descending time: 6 hours Descending distance 19 km
