Itinerary

Nairobi – Nanyuki - Old Mose

An early morning pick up from your respective place at 07:30hrs, then we proceed to Nanyuki Town which takes like 3-4 hours. On arrival we have a stopover in Nanyuki shopping mall Nakumatt as well as a cup of Kenyan tea as we finalize with the purchase of food. There after we proceed to the Sirimon Gate,on arrival at the gate we will have hot lunch at the gate as we formalize the entry process and payments of the fees as required by the Kenya Wildlife Service {KWS} Park Authority.

Old Moses

Wake up call at 0630hrs and you will be served with the breakfast as well as hot coffee and tea depending with your preference, after the breakfast prepare yourself and re-arrange the bag as we ascend the Sirimon Track to Likii North Valley.Climb out of the North Valley and into the Mackinders Valley one of the broadest valleys on the Mountain, with many giant groundse is with good views of the main peaks and a brief stopover for picnic lunch along the valley on top of the cliff.

Austrian Hut

Wake up call at 0730am have your breakfast and then pack, leave at 0900am and ascend uphill to Simba col, then proceed on a gradual trail along samba tarn to join the trail that joins to Mintos Hut from Austrian Hut. Proceed on to the Austrian Camp on time for lunch having done half circuit of the summit clockwise. The hike takes 3-4 hours. The rest of the afternoon spent in the camp relaxing as we await hitting the summit the following morning. Dinner and overnight in Austrian Hut

Wake up call at 04:30am, have a cup of Coffee will also be served,then we start the Alpine ascent to the highest peak Pt. Lenana {4985m} starts at 05:00hrs.This is the most challenging bit of the Mount Kenya Trekking and will require a strong mind to reach to the summit.On a clear day you can see the snowcapped summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the South of Mt. Elgon to the west.We normally get to the summit around 0600before the sun rise, take the photos as many as you can.

Chogoria Bandas

Chogoria Gate - Nairobi

The day will be calm and the breakfast will be served at around 0700am, after a leisurely breakfast, you walk about 10 km down through the forest to meet our driver who will drive you down the rest of thetrack and on to Chogoria town where we normally part ways with the other crews and we head back to Nairobi and have hot lunch on the way back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon with a drop off to your respective residential places of residence
