Arrival Entebbe
You’ll be personally met by our company representative upon arrival at Entebbe airport, and transfer to The Boma Hotel (For those arriving earlier, an afternoon excursion can be planned to the famous tombs of the Kabaka kings, Uganda museum, Bahai temple and Namugongo Martyrs shrine where 22 Christian convicts were killed under Kabaka (King of Buganda)-Mwanga in 1886.

Leave Entebbe after breakfast (8:00) for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Africa to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. Afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for outstanding cultural visit (320km, 5 hours’ drive).

Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroot (120km, 3hours 37minutes drive).

Dawn game drive in Uganda’s best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and kob, expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo and later drive to Ishasha sector. (110km, 2hours 25 minutes’ drive).

The morning is spent on a game drive around the Ishasha Sector looking for the rare tree African climbing lions and thereafter drive to Bwindi via the landscape of tea plantations (400km, 5hours 30minutes drive)

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 7:30am with a briefing. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. The tracking may take between 2 to 10 hours but it’s well worth the effort. There is always an option to hire a local porter) who will carry your bag and literally, push you up the hills if necessary!

Return To Kampala
Return to Kampala in the morning, lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara with stop over at Equator Uganda crossing and Mpambire drum makers for a brief photo opportunity and to shop souvenirs. Transfer to Entebbe for the evening flight back home (520km, 9 hours’ drive). (Meal plan Breakfast and Lunch)
