Arrival Dar Es Salaam - Selous

Nyerere (Selous)

Upon arrival at airport, Our guide will drive you to Selous. It's about 5hrs, you'll reach the Rufiji River that runs through Selous which you'll explore by boat. During the 2-3hrs. boat tour you can see lots animals & a beautiful sunset. From these sandbanks you can still see the animals & enjoy a little stroll around or a drink. There is nothing quite like the serenity of the river while the sun dips below the horizon.

Selous Game Reserve in southern Tanzania is one of the largest game reserves in the world – it is even bigger than Denmark! It has a large number of wildlife such as lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, Masai giraffes and many more! With a bit of luck, you can even spot the endangered black rhino or the hard-to-find East African wild dogs. It is a lot quieter here than in the other parks, so you can enjoy a unique and undisturbed safari experience!
