If you have seen crossing yesterday, you can choose to return to the river or go around the Mara in search of the big 5 you have not spotted plus more of other resident wildlife. Again, you will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty. The Mara is, in fact, the northern part of the Serengeti ecosystem and plays host to the vast herds of migratory wildebeests and zebras from July to September.

Elephant and plains game abound as well as the big cats such as Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah. With luck, the snow-capped peak of Mt Kilimanjaro will be visible, creating a spectacular backdrop to the peacefully grazing animals. Full board and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari lodge.
