DAY 1
Kidepo Valley
You will meet your guide at your lodge early in the morning who will brief you about your trip and transfer you to Kidepo valley national park. You will head northwards with brief stopovers to stretch out and lunch en-route arriving at Kidepo national park in the evening. This is surely a long journey and can take between 8 to 9 hours using the eastern Uganda route. This route will give you the best of sceneries and people insights. Arrive late evening check-in at your lodge for dinner .
DAY 2
breakfast and head for a morning game drive. Kidepo valley nP is the true wilderness of Africa with the largest herd of Cape Buffaloes found anywhere in Africa. It has such amazing scenery of rock kopjes and that ring the plains.The game drive will take you to Narus valley which accesses water all year round as opposed to Kidepo valley which is seasonal. The wildlife to look out for include Cheetahs, leopards, Waterbucks, Bushbucks, Lions, Uganda Kobs, birdlife. Return to the lodge for lunch.
DAY 3
Wake up early and after breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in the Kidepo valley where you will encounter other wildlife like the common ostrich, jackals and after we transfer to Gulu town as a major break for the journey to Kampala. We shall also detour to Aruu falls found outside Gulu town, therefore, arriving in Gulu later in the evening. Depending on time availability, we have an opportunity of visiting an Acholi homestead. DAY 4
This day will mark the end of the 4 Days tour, you will have breakfast early and make an early start on the long journey back to Kampala from Gulu with lunch en-route. You will arrive in Kampala late afternoon and proceed to Entebbe airport for your exit flight or your guide will drop you at a hotel for an overnight stay. Meal Plan (B, L)
