Safari summary
This exciting fly-in safari offers you the opportunity to fully experience this magical world of islands and waterways from land, air and water. The Okavango Delta, an oasis of riverine habitats and floodplains, owes its existence to the rainfall in the Angolan highlands, where the Okavango River begins its 250 km long journey across Namibia’s Caprivi Strip to finally seep away into the arid Kalahari Desert in Botswana. Unique as one of the world’s few inland deltas, the placid waters and lush indigenous forests of the Okavango Delta are known as the wildlife paradise of Africa, offering a safe haven to large populations of mammals and birds.
