STONE TOWN CITY , HOUSE OF WONDER

start exploring what our beautiful island has to offer, The Stone town . Stone Town is the cultural heart of the island and the old city area of Zanzibar City, located on the western shore. The city got its name from the many big multistory buildings made of stone which form the landscape of the old town part. Afterwards we will proceed with a cultural visit at The House of Wonders which show the cultural and architectural influences of Zanzibar, Britain, Portugal, and Oman over the centuries.

JOZANI FOREST AND SPICE TOUR

On this day we go deep in Zanzibar gastronomy and after this tour you will be able to prepare yourself several Swahili dishes,go on an excursion to the spice and fruit plantations close to Stone town for the famous Spice Tour.Also we will pass Jozani Forest, the last habitat of the rare endemic Red Colobus Monkey.

FULL DAY SAFARI BLUE TOUR

Your full-day Safari blue experience will start embarking on a traditional dhow from the Fumba fishing village. Primary the dhow, introduced by the Arabs, was a trading vessel used by the Swahili. They could be massive – it once transported a giraffe to the Chinese Emperor. Today they reflect the craftsmanship of Zanzibar timbers.You will visit a 200 hundred years old baobab tree, and the persistent ones may try to climb it and enjoy breathtaking views.

ZANZIBAR TO THE AIRPORT

Depending on your flight schedule and departure point you will be transferred to the Zanzibar Airport to take a flight back home. If you are flying out of Dar es Salaam, we will arrange a connection flight for you to catch your flight back home.
