Itinerary

DAY 1

You will arrive in Uganda at the main entry point Entebbe International Airport (EBB), where you will be welcomed by our company representatives to transfer you to the lodge and followed by retirement for relaxation, dinner, and overnight. Meal Plan (D)

DAY 2

Early morning breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the lodge & embark on this day drive to Murchison Falls NP, arguably the largest park in the country, the most beautiful as it overlooks the hanging escarpments of the great western rift valley, home to the most powerful falls in the world. You will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking & after have lunch. Go to Murchison Falls NP where you will be welcomed by baboons as go though Budongo forest. Upon reaching the park,

DAY 3

Early in the morning at around 6 am have breakfast & game drive. Here you will have a chance to spot early risers&nocturnal species before they return to their hideouts. This is the most beautiful national park in Uganda &because it hosts 4 of the Big5 and it is also the home to one of the most beautiful& powerful falls in world later to the lodge for Lunch. Afternoon, you will go for a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls. After, you will be driven back to lodge for dinner& overnight.

DAY 4

After breakfast, you will drive through the Albertine Escarpments and the verdant countryside, traditional farms, and homesteads. The 445km stretch goes through the rift valley with beautiful viewpoints. You have lunch en-route and arrive late evening in Fort Portal. You will check-in at your lodge for refreshing from the long drive and dinner at your lodge.

DAY 5

After breakfast, you will drive to the Kanyanchu briefing center. You will be briefed by a senior ranger guide and then after you will be led into the forest by ranger guides for chimpanzee tracking in the forest with the highest concentration of primates in Uganda with 13 primate species.

DAY 6

Have an early breakfast, you will embark on your journey towards the southwestern part of the country to explore the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. This national park is the second-largest savannah park in Uganda after Murchison Falls National park. The park also boasts of being a shelter to Uganda’s four mammals . In the evening you will have a 27km crater drive in the park to explore the beautiful landscapes of the park and you will also encounter a variety of wildlife and birds.

DAY 7

Have a morning cup of coffee at your lodge and embark on the game drive across the rolling savannah rangelands of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of wild game that roams the Kasenyi Plains. The stretch to the Kasenyi plains, the renowned mating ground offers you a lifetime opportunity to encounter numerous families of wild game in a single glance including elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and kobs along with predators like lions, leopards, and jackals.

DAY 8

After breakfast, you will embark on the drive further south 62km to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwestern part of Uganda. You will do a game drive en route in the Ishasha sector in search of the tree-climbing lions. This section of the park is well endowed with the famous climbing lions that lazily rest in the fig trees and also other wild game that roams in this woodland part of the park.

DAY 9

After an early breakfast, you will take a packed lunch, have a briefing by the ranger guides at the park headquarters, and you will enter the forest for your gorilla tracking. You will hike through the thick lush vegetation in the rainforest to eventually come across the gorillas in their natural habitat is an amazing and unforgettable experience. This encounter takes between 2 to 8hours. You will only have one hour of close contact with these calm gentle apes, take pictures.

DAY 10

After breakfast, you will embark on the journey back to Kampala, traversing the impressive plain lands in the countryside of southwestern Uganda before getting to Igongo Cultural Center lunch. You will then drive to Kampala for about 4hrs with a stop at the equator for a photo moment. The driver-guide will drop you at the airport for your exit flight or at a hotel for your overnight.
