Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Zanzibar. Meet and great then pick upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport and transfer to Zanzibar Serena Inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Morning relaxation at the beach after a buffet breakfast later transfer to The Zanzibar Prison Island. This historical island was used for detention of refractory slaves, the jail was constructed in 1893 and hence the old name “PRISON ISLAND”. Today the island has become a small tourist resort where one can relax and walk around to see Giant Tortoise and enjoy the beautiful beach, swim and snorkeling in the coral reefs. The drive to the Island is about 45 minutes. Later return to the hotel.

Day 3

On this day we do City tour after relaxed buffet breakfast. The tour starts from the stone town of Zanzibar, where we will visit the most historical and the most interesting places in town such as Zanzibar Museum, Former slave market, busy food market in the city, House of wonders, Old Fort,The Sultan Palace, Dr.Living Stone House and the Harbor for Dhows. Finally you will take a leisurely walk through the narrow streets of stone town. You will have lunch in one of the restaurants in the town.

Day 4

On this day you shall do the Spice Tour after early buffet breakfast then the tour takes you to the country side to visit some plantations such as root crops, spices, perfumes, medical plants tropical fruits and flowering trees. It is a tour that will prove why Zanzibar is referred to as “SPICE ISLAND”. In the afternoon drive to the airport for a flight to Kilimanjaro/Arusha International Airport. On arrival being picked up and then transfer to Zawadi house lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Leave the Lodge after an early buffet breakfast. Depart with Packed Lunch boxes. After Three hours drive, arrive in Manyara National park ready for a day game drive then later evening drive to The Manor Hotel at Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Day six

After an early Buffet Breakfast at the lodge leave with all your belongings and Packed Lunch Boxes. Drive post Ngorongoro Plains to Serengeti National Park. Game drive en-route to arrive time for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Migration Camp.

Day seven

After Buffet breakfast start a full Day Game drive in Serengeti with Packed Lunch Boxes during game drive to be served during the game. Later drive for Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Migration Camp.

Day eight

After an early buffet breakfast depart Migration Camp with Packed Lunch boxes and all your belongings drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area authority, descend the crater for a day game drive then later evening ascend the crater and drive to Manyara Area for dinner and overnight at The Manor at Ngorongoro.

Day nine

Leave the lodge after an early buffet breakfast with packed lunch boxes to Tarangire National Park for a half day game drive. Depending on the flight departure details, transfer to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for flight back home.
