This safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and you will you meet face to face with the mighty mountain Gorillas. You will see them as a family and these gorilla families are familiar to humans. You will never for once feel like you in danger with the mighty animals, you will just feel as if you had been wandered into a foreign home and quietly observed the father, mothers, and children going about their daily lives. You will also visit the Batwa people and learn about their ways of living and cultures.

Located in Southwestern Uganda, Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park has the highest population of mountain gorillas in the world and is arguably the best place to see mountain gorillas.

Itinerary

Transfer to Bwindi N/P

Our driver will pick you from the guesthouse or Airport and then leave for the South West of Uganda. The first part takes us through central Uganda. You will have a stop over in Mbarara at the famous Igongo Culture Center for some refreshments and from here we will continue the journey through Rukugiri District passing villages, cultivated farms, hills before you reach in Bwindi. Check in at Lodge, dinner and overnight stay.

Bwindi Impenetrable

After an early morning breakfast, walk to the park headquarters for briefing on the dos and don’ts during this activity and thereafter you will proceed for gorilla trekking. Gorilla tracking normally lasts between 2 to 8 hours or even a day to encounter the gorillas. However, you will be allowed to stay in the presence of these awesome apes for at least an hour. Late visit the batwa tribe for cultural experience.

Exit Bwindi to Entebbe Airport

This is your last day. After breakfast, you will start your journey back to Entebbe. You will make a stopover a the equator and have time to take photos and experience being in the worlds Northerner and Southern Hemisphere at the same time. Buy a few souvenirs and have a quick picnic lunch. You will then drive to Entebbe airport to for your journey back home till we meet again and thank you for choosing Hail Tours Uganda.
