NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA

Masai Mara

Your guide will meet you at your pre-safari accommodation in Nairobi for a short briefing about your 4-day budget safari, and then you set off towards Masai Mara Wildlife Reserve. Arriving in the Mara in the early afternoon there is time for our first wildlife viewing drive with your experienced and knowledgeable guide. Thanks to the pop-up roof of the land cruisers you may stand to watch and photograph the wildlife.

You are well prepared, with a picnic lunch, for a full day of exploration and over the next two days the guide takes you to remote corners of the reserve and shares his knowledge of the animals' behaviour with you. If you’re visiting during the Great Migration, you will make a stop at the Mara River and perhaps witness the hundreds of wildebeest and zebras trying to avoid the crocodiles which they know lie greedily waiting in the River.
