Day 01

Masai Mara

Pick up from the airport on arrival and transfer you to Ibis Styles Nairobi Westlands for overnight stay in readiness for your Wildebeest migration safari the following morning.

Day 02

Masai Mara

At the start of our Wildebeest migration safari you will be picked up from Ibis Styles hotel at 0730 hrs – a safari briefing session with our tour consultant then drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve as you enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley. Afternoon game drive to see the sun downer as you trail the Big 5 i.e. Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and numerous plain game

Day 3

Masai Mara

On day 3 of our 6 days Masai Mara safari you will have early breakfast then head out with a picnic lunch to the Mara River, hoping to see a dramatic river crossing or two. It is quite some sight to see the massed herds take a leap of faith into the Mara or Talek rivers with the Nile crocs lying in wait for them. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 4

Masai Mara

We will spend the day exploring the Masai Mara, with its abundance of large mammals and diverse birdlife. Big cats are a very prominent feature of the Masai Mara and also include Cheetahs and Leopards, both of which are fairly straightforward to find here.

Day 05

Masai Mara

Masai Mara wildebeest migration trailing Watching as thousands of wildebeest and zebra gather at a crossing point you can almost feel the pressure build on the animals at the front as they consider the right time to attempt to cross the dangerous waters of the crocodile-infested Mara River.

Day 06

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi with an en route stop for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley at the view point to arrive Nairobi at approximately 1400 hrs where our 6 days Wildebeest migration safari ends
