Itinerary

Day 1

DAY 1: WELCOME TO UGANDA Our experienced driver/guide will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel for the night.

Day 2

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO JINJA Our experienced driver/ guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning and then drive to Jinja for a tour where you will be able to visit places like Ssezibwa waterfalls, do a short hike in Mabira forest and also visit the Source of River Nile. After the driver will drive you around Jinja for a city tour and then go to the hotel for an overnight.

Day 3

DAY 3: DRIVE TO MT ELGON NATIONAL PARK Our driver/ guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning and start your journey to Mt Elgon National Park which is located in Mbale district, where we shall get a chance to explore Sipi falls, and also do some other activities. After the activities, we shall go to the hotel for the dinner and have briefing as well for the next day journey.

Day 4

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK The guider will pick you up from the hotel and you will be transferred to Kidepo valley National park in the northeast of Uganda, it’s quite a long drive from Jinja to the hotel. You will get to the hotel, freshen up, have dinner and the guide will be doing briefing you about the following day activities.

Day 5

DAY 5: ACTIVITIES IN KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK The guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning and take you for a morning game drive where you will see wild animals like Lions, Elephants and bird species. After game drive. We shall do the community walk as we will be interacting with the local community while they are carrying out traditional dances for us, visiting the homesteads and other activities.

Day 6

Murchison Falls

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK Our experience driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel early in the morning and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival in the park, have lunch and get ready for the afternoon game drive where you will see animals like giraffes, hippos, elephants and many others. After the game drive, go back to the hotel for dinner and have a briefing with the guide about the next day activities. Spend the night inside the park.

Day 7

DAY 7: ACTIVITIES IN MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK Very early in the morning at around 5 am, wake up and get ready for the morning game drive. Afterwards, come back to the hotel for lunch followed by an afternoon boat cruise, where you will be able to see many beautiful birds such as kingfishers and animals including hippos and crocodiles. After the boat cruise, return to the hotel for dinner and have a small briefing about the next long journey to Fort Portal.

Day 8

Kibale

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO FORTPORTAL/KIBALE NATIONAL PARK In the morning, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and you will be transferred to Fort Portal/Kibale National Park in the western Uganda region. Stop and have our packed lunch in a shade and continue to Fort Portal for an overnight stay.

Day 9

Kibale

DAY 9: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AT KIBALE NATIONAL PARK/SWAMP WALK In the morning there’s a short drive of less than 20 km to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee tracking as well as the chance to see bird species and reptiles. After chimpanzee tracking, return to the hotel for some rest and in the evening, we go for an activity, either swamp walk or community walk. After the activities, go back to the hotel and prepare for the next day.

Day 10

Queen Elizabeth

DAY 10: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK In the morning after breakfast, you start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing by the Equator, a cement factory and Mountain Rwenzori on the way. On arrival at the park, you can decide to do either a boat cruise or an evening game drive. Spend a night in the park.

Day 11

DAY 11: ACTIVITIES IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK Early in the morning after breakfast you will go for a morning activity (game drive or boat cruise). Afterwards drive to Ishasha for the night as the guide goes through the activity for the next day, a game drive to find the climbing lions and other species.

Day 12

DAY 12: CLIMBING LIONS GAME DRIVE Go on a morning game drive to find the climbing lions as well as other wildlife. After the game drive, we come back to the hotel, freshen up and the guide will brief you about the next day journey.

Day 13

DAY 13: TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI In the morning drive to Lake Bunyonyi, the second deepest lake in Africa. Have lunch in a hotel on the shore of the lake and afterwards enjoy a boat trip to some of the islands on the lake as well as visit a Batwa village. Head back to the hotel for the night.
