Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara

Depart for Masai Mara to arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive in search of black maned lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah, buffaloes and other plains game, named the 7th wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world. The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture.

Day 2: Masai Mara

Masai Mara

After breakfast you will head to the reserve with picnic lunch boxes. You will spend the whole day on an exciting game drive scenery and plenty of game. Spent your day in search of the big 5 cats and other plain game. A lion kill can be witnessed in the late afternoon or a leopard in a tree enjoying the meal he has dragged up on a limb to avoid disturbance and detection. As the sun sets, we return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara -Lake Nakuru

After Breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru, an easy scenic sightseeing drive via the Great Rift Valley escarpment with views of awesome scenery. There shall be some stops to marvel at the dramatic fall of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, a stopover at the Freshwater Lake Naivasha for an exciting boat ride to view hippos, exotic birds and small game later proceed to the Lake Nakuru arriving for lunch and afternoon game drive. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Samburu

Breakfast, depart for Samburu to arrive at the semi-arid and open savannah plains in time for lunch and off for your first exciting game drive. Buffalo Springs features a volcanic landscape broken up by forest and marsh. In Shaba reserve, you’ll find a greener landscape than Samburu with forests and woodlands. These three parks are a visual feast of scenic terrain and wildlife. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Samburu

Samburu

After breakfast, embark on a full day of game viewing in the park. This park is known as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Gravy’s zebra gerenuk, beisa oryx and a host of big game including elephant and lion. There’s something about Samburu reserve that our guests find calming, even in the midst of all the wildlife. Perhaps it’s the fact that Samburu is somewhat off the beaten path, so you’ll enjoy a wild game park with fewer tourists.

Day 6: Samburu-Olpejeta

After Breakfast, drive to Olpejeta sanctuary to arrive at the camp for lunch, afternoon game drive with the combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of OlPejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens!

Day 7: Olpejeta- Aberdares

After breakfast, drive to the lush foothills of snow capped Mount Kenya - Africa's second highest mountain, to Aberdares national park to arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive. Aberdares, isolated volcanic range that forms the eastern wall of the rift valley. This beautifully scenic region is much cooler than the savanna's and offers a completely different perspective on the country. The scenery is spectacular with mountainous terrain covered in thick tropical forests swathed in mist.

Day 8: Aberdares- Amboseli

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli to arrive for lunch; embark on an afternoon game viewing in the park at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro 19,340 ft. Ideal photography opportunities with Mt. Kilimanjaro highest in Africa providing a beautiful back drop. Its magnificent situation at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, combined with its excellent opportunities to view Kenya's animals, make it one of the most-visited safari parks in Kenya. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight

Day 9: Amboseli

After breakfast, full day game viewing in Amboseli. Despite its small size (392 sq km), this fragile ecosystem supports a wide range of mammals (well over 50 of the larger species) and birds (over 400 species). It has a mixed topography of plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush, swamps and marshes. This diversity, along with a long dry season, ensures excellent viewing of the large concentrations of African animals living in this natural habitat. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 10:Amboseli- Tsavo West n.p

After breakfast, drive via Chyullu hills to Tsavo to arrive for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive and a visit to Mzima Springs; (The source of drinking water for Mombasa). Tsavo West forms one of the largest wildlife conservation areas on Earth and is one of the largest national parks in Kenya. The park has abundant wildlife, but due to its size and thicker vegetation game viewing is more challenging and one of the most diverse landscapes with several volcanic craters and interesting hills.

Day 11: Tsavo West-Tsavo East

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo East n.p which is renowned for its large numbers of Elephants and the famous Man Eating Lions (during the building of the Kenya / Uganda Railway in 1890). Nevertheless the Tsavo national park is one of the most visited tourist attraction in Kenya. In spite of its arid countryside and savannah vegetation about 60 species of mammals and 400 different species of birds are to be found here. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Tsavo- Nairobi or Mombasa

After breakfast, morning game drive in Tsavo park particularly famous because of its dramatic scenery and the Red Elephants which owe their colors to the dust prevalent in this area as well as lions and cheetahs. There are many antelopes (Oryx, kudus, giants gazelles and giraffe) Burchell's zebras, Masai giraffes baboons and vervet monkeys of the birds the most impressive is the Maasai ostrich. Where there is water such as at Mzima springs, crocodiles and hippos can also be seen.
