In South Luangwa you will stay at Kafunta River Lodge and Three Rivers camp (customisable), experiencing two distinct areas and different camp styles but being looked after by the same professional team. Game drives and walking safaris are the focus. At Three Rivers you can also enjoy sleeping under the stars on the complimentary star bed.
In Malawi you will stay with Blue Zebra Island Lodge privately located on Nankoma Island where activities include swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, boat trips and sunset cruise or even scuba diving and birding safaris.

Day 1
South Luangwa
On Day 1, you will fly from Lusaka to Mfuwe airport where Kafunta River Lodge will collect you and take you to the lodge where you will stay for 3 nights. Activities at the lodge include morning and afternoon game drives, walking safaris (on request), relaxing by the infinity pool or in the natural hot spring or unwinding with an on-site massage. Or simply enjoy the stunning view from the main deck observing the roaming elephants, giraffes, antelopes and more.

On Day 4 you will take the road down to the southern part of South Luangwa. Explore the remoteness of South Luangwa by foot while staying in sumptuous Three Rivers Camp where you can enjoy the luxury of your tent or sleep out under the stars. Game drives complement the walks. This is a very wild area where you are unlikely to meet other people.

On Day 7 you will be transferred back to Kafunta River Lodge for a last night, and last game drive in South Luangwa

Lake Malawi
On Day 8, you will fly to Lilongwe (Malawi) and be transferred by road to the shores of Lake Malawi (Senga Bay). A short hop on a boat will take you to Nankoma Island. You will stay for the next 3 nights at the secluded Blue Zebra Island Lodge. The lodge is the only property on the island offering great privacy and many nautical activities are available.
