DAY 1: DRIVE TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK         Our experienced driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel/airport early in the morning and drive to  Kibale National park in the western Uganda, but on the way, we shall see the great view of Tea plantations, hundreds of baboons, if lucky also see the elephants. We will also have lunch on the way probably in fort portal town. After lunch we drive to the hotel while we are seeing the crater lakes. We will get to the hotel as we prepare for the activity for the following day.

DAY 3: DRIVE BACK TO KAMPALA           In the morning after breakfast, we shall drive back to Kampala either to the hotel or to the airport.   INCLUSIONS:   - Hotel Pick up and drop off   - Chimpanzee tracking permit   - 3x Lunch and 2x dinner   - Swamp walk fees   - 2x Breakfast   - Snacks/Rolex   - 2x Accommodation EXCLUSIONS:     - Airport drop off (unless asked for)     - Tips for the guides     - Souvenirs     - Flight tickets     - Visa processing DOS AND DON’TS DURING CHIMPANZEE TRACKING Water: Chimpanzee trekking can be very tiresome and you need to refill your tank as the trek goes on. It is advisable to park a few water filtration tablets before you come for the trek. Boots: You will need good waterproof comfortable shoes. Sometimes it rains during the trek, so skid proof shoes can come in handy. Rain Jacket: You are advised to carry rain jacket because if rains very often in Kibale National Park. Snack: You can carry a light snack to give you some energy during the walk in the forest Light trousers and long sleeved shirts are advised. Socks: You will have to tuck in the trousers into the socks to avoid insects crawling inside. Gloves: You will need Gardening gloves because you will be grabbing tree branches, leaves, name it, and some can be thorny. Camera: Carry a good camera (no flash ) to capture this lifetime experience   THINGS TO BE CONSIDERED WHEN BOOKING A CHIMPANZEE TRACKING SAFARI 1. Tour can start any day 2. Solo travelers can join this tour 3. Tour is done under the post covid 19 SOPs 4. Age limit: 15 years and above 5. Suitable for single travelers as well 6. When tracking the chimpanzee, you should be having some level of fitness because it involves hiking.  7. No sandals, open shoes allowed during the tracking of the chimpanzees, only covered shoes, hiking shoes  8.  Additional accommodation on the last day can be arranged at an extra cost  9. The official currency in Uganda is Ugandan shillings. US Dollars are widely accepted which are printed after 2006.
