The Lemosho route is one of our favored routes due to its low traffic, beautiful view and a high summit success rate. The Lemosho route begins off from the west, beginning with a long drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate. The Lemosho trail can be completed in 6 days, however we strongly recommend trekking it in 7 days. The extra day will allow your body to acclimate, decreasing the impacts of altitude sickness and allowing you to relax before trying the summit.

Day 1: Lemosho Glades to Big Tree

The first day of your 7 Days 6 night Kilimanjaro Hiking Tour via Lemosho Route for 2023,2024,2025 & 2026. Burigi Chato Safaris guide will drive you from Moshi to londorosi gate its take about 45 minutes prepare for the journey ahead Enjoy the beautiful rainforest scenery and windy trails while your guide tells you about the local flora and fauna and natural wildlife. At these lower elevations, the trail can be muddy and quite slippery.

Day 2: Big Tree Camp to Shira 1

After a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast, we emerge from the rain forest and continue on an ascending path, we leave the forest behind now, the trail climbs steadily with wide views to reach the rim of the Shira Plateau. Day 3: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco

The third day of your 7 Days 6 night Kilimanjaro Hiking Tour via Lemosho Route for 2023,2024,2025. This day is very important for acclimatization. From Shira Plateau we continue east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the Kibo peak before we then continue, South East towards the Lava Tower, called the Shark’s Tooth(4650m/15,250ft). Shortly after the tower, we come to a second junction, which leads to the Arrow Glacier.We then continue to descend to overnight at Kilimanjaro Barranco Camp.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga

After breakfast, we continue on a steep ridge up to the adventurous Barranco Wall to the Karanga Valley and the junction, which connects, with the Mweka Trail. Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

We continue up toward Barafu Camp, and once reached you have now completed the South Circuit, which offers a variety of breathtaking views of the summit from many different angles. Day 6: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak

We continue our way to the summit in a northwesterly direction and ascend through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater rim. . then you will ascent to Uhuru Peak, you are likely to encounter snow all the way after few rest, we will get lunch at karanga camp to enjoy your last evening on the mountain.Overnight Mweka Camp.

Day 7: Millennium Camp to Mweka

The final day of your 7 Days 6 night Kilimanjaro Hiking Tour via Lemosho Route for 2023,2024,2025. We continue the descent down to the Mweka Gate to receive your summit certificates. As the weather is warmer, the terrain is wet, muddy and steep and we highly recommend Gaiters and trekking poles. From the gate, a vehicle will meet you at Mweka village to drive you back to your hotel in Moshi (30 minutes). Enjoy a long overdue hot shower, dinner and celebrations.
