This journey begins with a steep motorbike ride up a rocky road, followed by a jungle ladder leading down into a gorge. Once inside, you wade along the river, clambering over boulders until you reach the ferocious falls, which spray with amazing force at their base. The Mount Meru waterfall is a spectacular sight that is only a few kilometers from town and is one of the top things to do in Arusha.
