Amboseli | Kilimanjaro

Day 2: Magnificent View of Mt Kilimanjaro You will be picked up from your city hotel at 0730 hrs and drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving at 1200 hrs at the lodge. There you will have time to check in and have lunch. Later on, depart for an afternoon game drive until sunset. Amboseli National Park is everyone's classic image of East Africa: herds of great animals moving across the dusty plains with the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro rising straight up in the background. Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain at 19,340 feet (5,895 meters). Although it is situated inside Tanzania, the best views of the mountain are from Amboseli on the Kenyan side of the border. Lake Nakuru

Day 4: The Land of the Flamingos You will depart after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. Check in with mid-morning at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities. At 1530 hrs, embark on the afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park till sunset. Lake Nakuru is a bird paradise with hundreds of thousands of pink flamingos and pelicans, Leopards, Rhinos (White and Black) Buffalo, Lions, the rare bush-buck are also present at the park. Masai Mara

Day 5: Rolling Plains of the Masai Mara You will have a full day in the Mara with an option of doing an early morning game drive before breakfast and an afternoon game drive. Depart for a full day game viewing with picnic lunch that will take you to the Mara River to see the hippos and the crocodiles. You can also opt to take a balloon safari which will be followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush (extra cost). An optional visit to a Masai homestead will reveal their outstanding culture and customs.
