Drive through the unwinding hills in rural areas into the home of endangered mountain gorillas. Your safari begins from Kigali urban settings into the village setting of Bwindi impenetrable in Uganda, this tropical rainforest is a habitat to a variety of primate species. From this forest, you will track Gorillas while from the other trails you can go for bird watching, nature walk characterized by a number of birds including Blue Turaco, Black casques hornbills, Black and White Hornbills, Woodland Kingfishers, Flycatchers. Time permitting take on a community visit is also much amazing to explore the lifestyle of the indigenous people and Kigali Memorial genocide ground where over 25000 Rwandese were buried.

Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Kigali On arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, you will be received by one of our tour guides who will warmly welcome you the land of a thousand hills and transfer you to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Flame Tree Village ( Midrange accommodation)

Day 2

Bwindi Impenetrable

Day 2: Transfer from Kigali – Bwindi (Travel Time :5hrs) You will be picked by our guide from your hotel, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre then after proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in South Western Uganda. En-route view of the beautiful scenery, terraced farming to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to half of the endangered mountain gorilla. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (Mid-range lodge)

Day 3

Day 3: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the Uganda wildlife officials and thereafter enter the jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food, and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or the whole day depending on the movement of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience in Uganda, you will have an informative memorable experience in life. In the afternoon ready for a village foot safari to explore the indigenous local life with a taste of the traditional performance. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (Mid-range lodge)

Day 4

Day 4: Bwindi-Kigali (Travel Time:5hrs) Early morning breakfast and short sightseeing experience for photography. Thereafter embark on your safari vehicle and drive back to Kigali. You will later have lunch in Kigali and later head to Kigali city tour and later be transferred to the airport/hotel. End of service!
