5 Days Wildlife Circuit

Nairobi

Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdares National Park (Drive time approx. 3 hours) Pick in Nairobi and depart for a 2.5-hour drive arriving at Outspan for lunch and then afternoon transfer to Treetops. This is a tree lodge set in a forest glade with a waterhole that attracts all sorts of wildlife during the day and night. The waterhole is floodlit and there is an underground viewing platform. The night is spent on your comfortable perch, above the floodlit water hole and saltlick where, all night long, a procession of animals come to drink. Dinner and overnight at a Treetops Lodge

Lake Nakuru | Serengeti

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara Game Reserve (Drive time approx.  6 hours) Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving at in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge followed by an afternoon game viewing and later dinner and overnight at the lodge The Maasai Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to comprehend – indeed, over 450 species of animals have been recorded here! You will easily spot lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna - lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures.

Nairobi

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi (Drive time approx.5.5 hours) You will wake up today for breakfast check out and with a game drive leave the park for Nairobi. You will arrive into Kenya’s bustling capital in the afternoon and dropped off at a city hotel or at the airport for ongoing travel arrangements.
