Day 01
Day 01 Nairobi Arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International airport met with your driver guide and transfer you your hotel. The drive to your hotel is about 15 minutes depending on the traffic. Arrival into your hotel –Eka Hotel www.ekahotel.com where you will be assisted by our staff to check in. hotel porters will assist collect your luggage from your vehicle and welcome you the reception where you will be assisted in checking in and quickly assisted to your hotel room. Have a relaxed leisure the rest of the day. Overnight: Eka Hotel 4* Meals: FB –Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Day 02
Amboseli | Samburu
Day 02 Samburu National Reserve 0800hrs-After breakfast, drive across the Equator, through changing landscapes to the rugged-semi region, though harsh but having unique species like the unusual reticulated giraffe, Gravy’s zebra, Beisa, Oryx, Gerenuk and the Somali Ostrich. These species are rarely found elsewhere. Arrive in time at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, check in at the lodge and proceed for lunch. 1600hrs- After having an afternoon Kenyan Coffee tea, head-out for another adventurous game drive at the park where you will spot some notable animals that is antelopes, gerenuk, elephants, buffaloes among other animals. Overnight: Samburu Sopa Lodge https://sopalodges.com/samburu-sopa-lodge/the-lodge Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 03
Samburu
Day 03 Samburu National Reserve 0600hrs- Depart for an early morning game drive at the park in search of the Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah and the Samburu Special five that is Gravy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and Reticulated giraffe. This species is rare and can only be found in the north. 0800hrs-Return to the lodge for a full buffet breakfast. 1600hrs- Leave for an evening game drive in the park and explore the park. Wild dogs can also be sighted in the park. Later return to the park for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Samburu Sopa Lodge- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 04
Samburu
Day 04 Samburu game reserve – Sweetwaters game reserve 0700 hrs – breakfast at the camp. 0800 hrs – check out and depart for sweetwaters at leisure. 1200 hrs – Arrival at sweetwaters tented camp in time for check in. 1300 hrs – enjoy your sumptuous lunch at Sweetwaters luxury camp. Sweetwaters Luxury Camp www.serenahotels.com 1600 hrs – afternoon game drive, Sweetwaters is a "Rhino heaven"(Morani which you can feed and touch) and other big five game including the elephants,buffalos,lion and the loepard, a wide variety of birds such as Augur Buzzard, Stout Cisticola, Cape Robin Chat, Black Kite, African Harrier Hawk among other highland species are easily spotted. An optional night game drive is available at an extral cost – payable direct. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. (fullboard). Overnight: Sweetwaters Tented camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 05
Lake Nakuru
Day 05 Lake Nakuru 0730 hrs - After breakfast - Head off to Lake Nakuru National park. Arrival in time for check in and hot lunch at Flamingo Hill tented Lodge https://www.flamingohillcamp.com/ 1500 hrs - proceed on for afternoon game drive - Lake Nakuru is famous for the big populations of Flamingos that number hundreds / thousands during dry season. The Park also contains Kenya’s largest population of rhinos. The surface of the lake occupies about a third of the park. The lake supports a dense bloom of the blue-green Cyanophyte Spirulina platensis from which it derives its colour. Dinner and overnight at the tented lodge. Overnight: Flamingo Hill tented Lodge Meals: FB –Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Day 06
Day 06: Maasai Mara Game Reserve 0800hrs-After breakfast, you shall be picked by your driver guide, set out on a road trip to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You shall have some stop overs enroute to visit the washroom, and stretch yourself. Arrive in time at Ilkeliani camp https://www.ilkeliani.com/ , check in and thereafter proceed for hot lunch at the restaurant. 1600hrs - After enjoying your afternoon Kenyan tea and coffee - Head out this afternoon game drive in search some of the area`s wildlife hot-spots determined by your driver guide, as they`ve learned and now understand the games daily routines through tracking. Some wildlife is more difficult than others to spot, for instance the Leopard. These spotted cats blend almost seamlessly into the tall grass and shrubbery, and are even more challenging to spot up in their favorite hangout, the trees. Your guide will take you to nearby watering holes, where on a hot day, you might spot many bird and wildlife species, including the elusive cats. 1830hrs- After game drive head back to your camp. Overnight: Ilkeliani Camp Meal Plan: FB- Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast.
Day 07
Masai Mara
Day 07/08: Maasai Mara Game Reserve After breakfast depart for a full day game viewing adventure with picnic lunches on board. Masai Mara Game Reserve provides the necessary requirements to house a wide range of animal species. The most recognized are known worldwide as the African Big 5 which includes the African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Rhinoceros, Leopard, and the King of the beasts, the Lion. The term Big 5 was coined by big-game hunters as these species were the most difficult and dangerous to track and hunt. Subsequently the term was adopted by the tourism industry for marketing purpose, spinning a web of positivity opposed to the negative effect portrait by the original terminology. Numerous other species of bird and wildlife inhabit this dynamic location including Hyenas, Gazelles, Impalas, Giraffes, Zebras, Vultures, Cranes, Eagles, Falcons, and Ostriches. 1830hrs- After game drive head back to your camp. Overnight: Ilkeliani Camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 09
Serengeti
Days 09: Serengeti National Park Breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast depart for Kenya /Tanzania border - arrival at the border town of Isibania. Clear with immigration for Kenya and Tanzania then proceed on to Serengeti, with lunch boxes on board. Enjoy your lunch boxes enroute. Arrival into Serengeti for onward afternoon game viewing - Drive to vast, wildlife-rich Serengeti National Park. Evening Arrival for check in at your lodge - Serengeti Kati Kati 4* http://www.tanganyikawildernesscamps.com/camps/serengetimediumcamp/ Get settled at your lodge, which is framed by commanding views of this land of lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffes and topi. Serengeti
Day 10 & 11 : Serengeti National Park | Observing the “Little Five” Full day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drive. Spend your day in true safari country, searching for the “Big Five” (lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, elephants and rhinos), along with giraffes, gazelles and zebras. You may also see the lesser-known “Little Five” — including leopard tortoises and rhino beetles — along the rivers, plains and rock outcroppings. Serengeti Kati Kati | Meals: B L D
Day 12
Ngorongoro Crater | Serengeti
Day 12: Ngorongoro crater | Wildlife Revealed Departure from the Serengeti early morning, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a packed lunch, descend into the crater floor and spend the day game-viewing , Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, offering fabulous game viewing and is one of the only such places in Africa. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle and zebra that depend on the open grasslands are in the crater, attracting predators, the black- maned lion, the leopard and hyena. The elephant found are the lone males. A soda lake attracts water birds, including flamingos and is a suitable place for predators to make their kill. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater has been called a Garden of Eden. Arusha | Kilimanjaro
Day 13 : Drop off Kilimanjaro airport. Breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast check out and drive transfer to Arusha. Lunch on own account.
