Kafue

Day 6-8:  Experience the wilderness of the Kafue National Park and its beautiful river landscape: KaingU Safari Lodge is located on a breathtakingly beautiful part of the Kafue River, with countless rapids and islands. Together with your first-class guide, you can arrange activities according to your specific interests.                Explore the Kafue River on boat trips, bird watching or canoeing.                Classic driving safaris in the morning and afternoon or all day long, allow you to observe animals in                            different habitats up close.                Seasonal highlights are also the bird hides. Well camouflaged, you can observe and photograph bee-                        eaters and parrots in peace and quiet.                What is missed during a game drive can be experienced on a nature walk where even smaller animal                         tracks and plants can be discovered. From the "summit" of a large granite hill near the lodge you get a                       360 ° view over nothing but nature!                A visit to the KaingU supported village school or an authentic hamlet can be organized, see where                              peanuts and cotton grow, and where fields are still plowed with oxen.                Experience nature up close on an unique sleepout in the Tonga tree-basket.  KaingU spoils you with a very good, creative and innovative kitchen, using many from local ingredients.
