Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 Pick up at 9am from any hotel/lodge situated in Windhoek. At 9:30am on route south to world-famous Sossusvlei via scenicSpreetshoogte Moutain Pass. Stop-over for lunch at the view point to admire endless panorama of the Namib. On route, visit at Solitaire oasis. Arrival at the lodge or campsite around 3pm. In the afternoon, visit to the fascinating rock formation of the Sesriem Canyon and late afternoon, climbing Elim Dune overlooking scenic desert horizon. Dinner served in the evening, tops-up the adventures of the first day. Meals: lunch, dinner. Distance: 330 km Accommodation: for 2 nights at the lodge.

Day 2

Day 2 Early morning, before the sunrise, on route through the Sesriem Gate to spectacular Sossusvlei. We start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the surreal Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you wish, you can take on climbing one of the highest dunes on Earth, the „Big Daddy” or „Big Mama”. 360 degrees, scenic views of the Namib, „The Sea of Sand” are incredible! Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei are considered to be one of the most photogenic and some of the most photographed places on Earth! In the afternoon, time for rest and relaxation in the quiet atmosphere of the Namib. Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 3

Day 3 After breakfast, departure to Windhoek through scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. On route, stop-over at Solitaire. Arrival at the capital before lunch. We will drop you off at the hotel/lodge of your choice, in Windhoek or directly at the international airport. Meals: breakfast. Farewell, goodbye and many happy returns with Wild Wind Safaris!
