Safari summary
Fly into northern Tanzania. Visit Ngorongoro crater - a natural amphitheatre covering an area of 304 sq km and one of the few places in Africa where you may be lucky to see rhino. Safari within the unchanging Serengeti ecosystem - one of the oldest on earth. The Serengeti is a wildlife watchers paradise and where the world renown annual wildebeest migration takes place. Fly south into Selous - an area of unspoiled wilderness, almost four times larger than Serengeti. The Selous is home to many varieties of wildlife, including an estimated 1,300 rare African wild dogs, over half of Tanzania’s elephant population and Africa’s largest concentration of crocodile and hippo. Enjoy game drives, guided game walks and boat trips on the mighty Rufiji River. Fly out of Selous to join an international departure flight out of Dar es Salaam.
