Itinerary

Day 1

Kilimanjaro

Day 1: Arrive into Kilimanjaro airport to be met by our representative and assisted with luggage and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight (Kigongoni Lodge).

Day 2

Lake Manyara

Day 2: Meet the driver/guide at your the hotel and after a short briefing join your private 4X4 safari land-cruiser and begin the drive to enter Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is an ancient soda lake and a stop-off for flocks of flamingo. Also anticipate seeing tree climbing lions and pythons. End your safari in Lemala Manyara Tented Camp for a relaxing evening. Lunch, dinner, breakfast.

Day 3

Serengeti

Day 3: After breakfast, leave Manyara to enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area into the Serengeti offers many opportunities for wildlife viewing and possible sightings of most of the 'big five'. Arrive at Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp in the early evening for dinner and overnight. Lunch, dinner, breakfast.

Day 4

Serengeti

Day 4: Head north within the Serengeti, game driving en route. The safari day ends at Lemala Kuria, located in the Wogakuria Hills with spectacular views. Lunch, dinner, breakfast.

Day 5

Serengeti

Day 5: Enjoy a full day game driving as you explore northern Serengeti. Explore different locations or return to a special place before returning to Lemala Kuria Tented Camp. During the migration season the game drive will be aimed towards seeing as much as possible of the spectacular migration activity including the brutal Mara river crossing, where hungry crocodile lie in wait to pounce on the wildebeest and zebra.. Day 6

Serengeti

Day 6: Head south, game driving en-route to return to Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp in central Serengeti. Lunch, dinner, breakfast.

Day 7

Serengeti

Day 7: Taking a picnic lunch enjoy all day game driving as you leave the Serengeti and return through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey ends at Ngororngoro Tented Camp on the rim of Ngorongoro crater. Lunch, dinner, breakfast.

Day 8

Kilimanjaro | Ngorongoro Crater

Day 8: After breakfast descend the steep sided track to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater, passing Maasai cattle herders who share the crater ecosystem. Your morning game drive exploring the vast caldera will present many opportunities for quietly watching the wildlife activity. After enjoying a picnic lunch, leave the crater to return east. Enjoy a pre-flight dinner before transferring to Kilimanjaro Airport to join an evening international departure flight.
