Arusha | Kilimanjaro

Day 1: Arusha Arusha Arrival, Arusha town We will pick you up from Kilimanjaro airport and continue to Arusha town for dinner and overnight at Venus hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, a complimentary town tour to explore Arusha town, visit a local market, and a traditional bar can be arranged.  

Lake Manyara | Tarangire

Day 3: Tarangire To Manyara After breakfast you will drive to Mtowambu town on the floor of the Great rift valley, for a guided village tour. In this small but very busy town where people belonging to all 120 tribes in Tanzania live together you will have opportunity to see typical daily life of Tanzanians. Your walking guide who comes from that area will take you to rice and banana plantations where you will interact with the people working in their farms, you will visit a traditional beer bar/factory, you will visit a school and carvings factory where the famous “makonde” use ebony black wood to carve different statues. You will then continue to Lake Manyara national park for game drive with picnic lunch. In this small but very beautiful park with dense forest you will have opportunity to see lots of monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, dik dik, flamingos in the lake and if you are lucky you may spot the rare tree climbing lions.  

Arusha

Day 5: Transfer To Arusha Airport Zanzibar After breakfast drive back to Arusha for lunch. After lunch you will be transferred to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar you you will be picked up and transferred to Nungwi for dinner and overnight at Warere beach hotel.  

Day 7: Zanzibar Island After breakfast you will drive to the Stone town where you will do a spice tour (Zanzibar spices are very famous worldwide). Later you will visit the historical Zanzibar Stone town. In the late afternoon you return to Warere beach hotel for dinner and overnight.
