East of the Murchison Falls within the park, are the Karuma Falls, where the Nile River cascades over a breath-taking 23 km of rapids. The scene creates one of the most exciting white-water rafting opportunities in Africa.

Itinerary

Day 1

Murchison Falls

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park We will pick you from your Hotel in Kampala in the morning hours after Breakfast; you will have a road trip through Mubende while you enjoy the beautiful Mother Nature green on the road side. You will stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary in Nakasongola to track rhinos at an extra fee of $60 per person. After a fun-filled ride of 5 hours, Bazanya safaris team will check you into your Hotel inside the National Park for an overnight.

Day 2

After your delicious early morning breakfast, Bazanya safaris will pick you from your Hotel for game drive in the pursuit for Lions, Giraffes, Elephants, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes and waterbucks. The Hot Air Balloon safari can also be arranged on request at an extra charge of $400 per person (Optional). After a 2-4 Hours Game drive/ride in the wild, we will return to the Hotel for lunch. Then in the afternoon you will enjoy a 2 hours thrilling boat cruise upstream to the bottom.

Day 3

After Breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and we will drive to Budongo Forest for chimpanzee tracking (Optional). Then drive back to Kampala and if time allows, you will go on a shopping bender at the craft market on Buganda road or National Theater (Uganda National Cultural center). Reliant on your departure time Bazanya safaris will escort you to Entebbe Airport; flag you goodbye as you catch your flight back home.
