Itinerary

Day 1

Arusha

DAY 1: Arrive in Arusha Arrival at the airport, your driver will be waiting for you, after the immigration hall. He will transfer you to your accommodation for the night.  

Day 2

Arusha

DAY 2: Walking safari in Arusha National Park After breakfast, you will depart for Arusha National Park for a game drive and later an afternoon walk. This park hosts Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest as well as a variety of animals such as buffalo, giraffe, warthog, zebra, lion, elephant and many other animals. Its wide range of bird species offers a fantastic experience to bird watchers. After the walk, you will return to your accommodation for the night.  

Day 3

Arusha | Tarangire

DAY 3: Game drive in Tarangire National Park After an early breakfast, depart to Tarangire National Park. You will drive through the city of Arusha then out to Maasai land where you can see the Maasai grazing cattle and goats. Enjoy a game drive in this park which covers an area of 2,600 km2 and famous for its large herd of elephants and baobab trees. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation inside the park.  

Day 4

Lake Manyara

DAY 4: Game drive in Lake Manyara National Park You will have an early breakfast then depart for Lake Manyara National Park. After completion of park fees payment, you will drive through the lush forest then open grassland and on to the lake edge. The park is a game watcher’s paradise, full of endemic species. You can also expect to see various animals like elephants, hippos, impala, dik-dik, bushbuck, and if you are lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions of Manyara. At the end of your game drive, you will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight.  

Day 5

Arusha | Ngorongoro Crater

DAY 5: Ful day Ngorongoro Crater tour You will have an early breakfast then head down the crater for a full day crater tour, enjoy the beautiful scenery and game driving. The main feature of NCA is the Ngorongoro Crater which is an inactive volcanic caldera formed 3 million years ago after the collapse of a giant volcano. The crater is 610m deep with a floor area of 260 km2 and is named one of the natural wonders of Africa. On a clear day, you can see the whole crater wall from the bottom. The crater boasts a variety of large animals; approximately 25,000 in number including the rare black rhino. Lunch at the picnic site and later start the ascend and drive back to Arusha.  

Day 6

DAY 6: Dropoff at the airport Your driver will pick you up at your accommodation and drive you to the airport in good time for your flight.
