The trip covers Masai Mara, lake Nakuru and Amboseli in Kenya and Serengeti and Ngorongoro in the Tanzania part. Accommodation in Nairobi is not included in the cost but the Arusha hotel is included in the package whereby the client has to buy the dinner on own. Shuttle bus to and from Arusha is also included in the package price.

Itinerary

Day 1

Masai Mara

Day 1: NAIROBI - MASAI MARA Meet our driver guide at your Nairobi Hotel or at the airport and be transferred directly to our office to clear the payments and briefing. The safari starts from Nairobi to Masai Mara with two stops on the way. The first stop will be at the viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall and the second at Narok Town for shopping. Arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in time for lunch, check-in, and leave for evening game drive. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Masai Mara

Day 2: MASAI MARA GAME VIEWING After breakfast we will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Day 3

Lake Nakuru | Masai Mara

Day 3: MASAI MARA - LAKE NAKURU After breakfast, leave for Masai Village Visit to visit the local Masai people. During your cultural experience, you will interact with the local community of Maasai people. Later leave for Lake Nakuru known as the home of the white and black Rhinos and Flamingos. Stopover on your way for an optional activity in Lake Naivasha for 20 dollars per person. Lunch then proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in CityMax Hotel in the evening. Later dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Amboseli | Lake Nakuru

Day 4: LAKE NAKURU - AMBOSELI Breakfast, leave for a 4 hours game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park which is the place to see the endangered Rhino Species. Lake Nakuru is also famous for the Flamingos but it all depends on the season and water level at the lake. The other big five can be spotted in this park except for Elephants. Later exit Nakuru and drive to Amboseli with a stopover for lunch and via Nairobi. Arrive at Nyati Camp before sunset and proceed to check-in, dinner, and overnight.

Day 5

Amboseli

Day 5: AMBOSELI GAME VIEWING Breakfast then leave for a full day game viewing. The park is widely known for its large herds of Elephants and the view of Mount Kilimanjaro which is located on the Tanzania Part. It also has large heard of Elephants. You can be lucky to spot all the Big Five in this park with amazing views from all directions. Enjoy picnic lunch at the base of the mountain, continue with the game drive till 0500pm.Later exit the park to the camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Amboseli

Day 6: AMBOSELI - NAMANGA - ARUSHA Early morning game drive then return to the camp for full breakfast, with the game drive leave Amboseli and proceed to Namanga border where you will say bye-bye to your Kenya Guide. After visa processing, the shuttle bus driver will be there to pick you and proceed to Arusha. Meet our driver and be transferred to Arusha Hotel where you will be spending your night. The evening will be spent at leisure. The hotel in Arusha is booked on Bed and Breakfast.

Day 7

Serengeti

Day 8: ARUSHA - SERENGETI Breakfast at your Arusha Hotel, meet our staff and driver guide for a briefing about the whole trip, leaves Arusha for a 6 hours drive to Serengeti National park with lunch en route. Upon arrival at the main gate the registration is done then with a game drive to the camp which is located at the Central Serengeti. Today you are scheduled for at least a 3 hours game drive, then dinner will be served at Seronera Camp followed by overnight at the seronera campsite.

Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater | Serengeti

Day 8: SERENGETI - NGORONGORO Early morning breakfast then leave for the morning game drive, enjoy at least 6 hours game drive, have picnic lunch then exit with an optional stopover at Olduvai Gorge museum and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Olduvai Gorge is the museum where the remains of mankind were found. You will learn more from the guide and if interested the guide will take you there. Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater later in the evening. Proceed to the campsite for Dinner and overnight.

Day 9

Ngorongoro Crater

Day 9: NGORONGORO - ARUSHA Breakfast then leave with picnic lunch for a great and amazing game drive. With packed lunch boxes descend the crater with game viewing. You will have a great and awesome view of wildlife as you drive down. Ngorongoro crater as few of the remaining black Rhinos, buffalos, Elephants, Zebras, Wildebeest among other animals. Picnic at the crater rim, later ascend to the main gate and drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped at Arusha Hotel booked bed and breakfast.

Day 10

Day 10: DEPARTURE After breakfast at the Charity Hotel our partner will be ready to take you to the airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Thank you for choosing us for your African safari.
