Itinerary

Day 1

Tarangire

In the morning pick up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for game drives. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor.This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu and the Fringed-eared Oryx. After a picnic lunch we do an afternoon game drive for more animal-spotting and wildlife experiences, after which you will be driven to your lodge.

Day 2

Lake Manyara

In the early morning, we will continue our journey to Lake Manyara National Park. The park encompasses the northwest bank and part of the Lake Manyara which itself rests in the Great Rift Valley. The park is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans and cormorants but it is also the home for hundreds of other bird species; After a picnic lunch, there will be more time for further game-drives before it is time to continue towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Game drives through the Ngorongoro Crater begin early in the morning in safari vehicles with pop-up roofs – departure from your accommodation will therefore be around 6:00 or 7:00 AM. The descent into the crater is one of scenic beauty, as you make your way through lush forests, home to numerous elephants and buffaloes. After lunch and a short game-drive, you will be taken back to Arusha where you will be dropped at your accommodation or to the airport
