Kibale

DAY 3: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING-BIRDING BIGODI. After our breakfast at 7:30 pm, we will head to kibale forest which is the best place to see wild chimpanzee (habituated) and too close to human beings. We will across red colobus Monkeys, grey-cheecked Mangabey, Black and White Colobus Monkeys plus others. chimp trekking in Kibale While chimpanzee we will come across some birds such as Narina Trogon, White-bellied crested-flycatcher, purple-breasted sunbird, collared Apalis, Blue-headed sunbird to mention but afew. Then after chimpanzee tracking, we will have lunch at Rweteera Safari park as we view Giant kingfishers on the lake near the park. Later in the evening, we will do birding Bigodi wetland sanctuary which is the home to 138bird species which may be seen during guided walk. Such birds include; Brown-throated wattle –eye, White –breasted Negrofinch, Hairy-breasted barbet, Yellow-billed barbet, western nicator, white-tailed Ant-thrush, superb sunbird, Black Bishop, white-spotted Flufftail, Brown- crowned Tchagra, Bocages Bush- Shrike of which it will take us 1-2 hours.
