Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 Transfer from kampala to queen elizabeth np After an early breakfast by 8:00am, we will drive to queen Elizabeth National park, make a few stopovers at the equator to take some photographs and in Mbarara at Oxford Inn for lunch. From here, we will continue to queen Elizabeth national park viewing the beautiful scenery, tea plantations, the open grassland, long horned –Ankole cattle and the Rift valley escarpment. Then have an evening game drive as we head to the place of accommodation.

Day 2

Day 2 Game drive, boat cruise and transfer to fortportal then to kibale NP Start the clay with an early cup of tea/coffee before an early game drive along queen’s mile plus the kasenyi trail. On this trail, we will see elephants, hippopotamus, Kobs, warthogs among others and it will only take us 2 hours then head for lunch. Later in the afternoon, we will enjoy a 2 hour boat ride on Kazinga Channel where we will encounter Buffaloes, herds of elephants, hippopotamus and lots of water birds like African skimmer, Water Thick-knee, African spoonbill, Egyptian Geese, African Fish Eagle, White-winged tern, Great and Long- tailed cormor ants, saddle-billed stork and many others. After the boat ride, we will pack and proceed to fort portal where will spend a night before connecting to kibale national park. Stay at Mountains of the Moon Hotel.

Day 3

Day 3 Chimpanzee tracking and birding at bigodi swamp After our breakfast at 7:30 pm, we will head to kibale forest which is the best place to see wild chimpanzee (habituated) and too close to human beings. We will across red colobus Monkeys, grey-cheeckedMangabey, Black and White Colobus Monkeys plus others. While chimpanzee we will come across some birds such as Narina Trogon, White-bellied crested-flycatcher, purple-breasted sunbird, collared Apalis, Blue-headed sunbird to mention but afew. Then after chimpanzee tracking, we will have lunch at Rweteera Safari park as we view Giant kingfishers on the lake near the park. Later in the evening, we will do birding Bigodi wetland sanctuary which is the home to 138bird species which may be seen during guided walk.

Day 4

Day 4 Transfer from kibale np tp Kampala After breakfast with wonderful memories of the previous days, we will proceed to kampala where we shall relax and wait for the way back at Entebbe to prepare for the the journey at mid-night while at travellers Inn Entebbe END OF Tour.
