Day 1

Arusha | Kilimanjaro

DAY 1 – Arusha town: Kilimanjaro airport – Arusha 1 h transfer Activities: Town tour with local guide. Program: Pick up customers at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Arusha by private car for overnight in town. If you have time you can have a town tour. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Planet Lodge or similar.

Day 2

Arusha | Tarangire

DAY 2 – Tarangire National Park: Transfer Arusha - Tarangire NP is around 2 h. Activities: game viewing. Program: After breakfast proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing with picnic lunch. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Roika Tented Camp or similar.

Day 3

Lake Manyara | Tarangire

DAY 3 – Manyara National Park: Transfer Tarangire - Manyara is around 1.5 h. Activities: game viewing. Program: After breakfast drive to Manyara National Park for game drives with picnic lunch. Lake Manyara NP size is only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is lake when water levels are high. This small but scenic safari park is excellent for bird-watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos etc as well as the potential excitement of spotting a legendary Lake Manyara tree-climbing lions. You can get off the vehicle at the Hippo pool, stretch your legs and see the hippos very close. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Olea Africana Lodge or similar.

Day 4

Serengeti

DAY 4 – Serengeti National Park: Transfer Manyara – Ngorongoro gate is around 1 h. Activities: game viewing. Program: After breakfast we can visit Mto wa Mbo or Karatu village, then we drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park with packed lunch, game viewing en-route. Serengeti, over 6,000 square miles of sprawling, unspoiled landscape is quite a sight. Add to that an extraordinary population of resident and migratory animals in a constant bid for survival, and you understand why this is often called, "the world as it was in the beginning." As soon as you enter the park, wildlife viewing begins. Search for leopard and lion. Watch in awe as zebra, wildebeest and elephant simply appear from amidst the woodlands and plains. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp or similar.

Day 5

Serengeti

DAY 5 – Serengeti National Park Activities: game viewing. Program: You have a full day exploring the Serengeti National Park. The day is dedicated to game drives in the park. You can have picnic or hot lunch. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Osupuko Tented Camp or Kati Kati Tented Camp.

Day 6

Serengeti

DAY 6 – Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Activities: game viewing. Program: After breakfast you start a game drive in Serengeti. Today you have picnic lunch. Later you drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en-route. It’s another full day dedicated to game drives. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge or similar.

Day 7

Arusha | Ngorongoro Crater

DAY 7 - Ngorongoro crater: Transfer Ngorongoro gate – Arusha 3 h Activities: game viewing. Program: After breakfast, or before breakfast with breakfast boxes, we drive to Ngorongoro crater in early morning for game viewing with picnic lunch. The park is one of the most densely crowded wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called 'Africa's Eden' and the '8th Natural Wonder of the World,' a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater's ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries. In early afternoon we leave the crater, cross Ngorongoro up to the entrance gate and proceed to Arusha where we arrive for dinner. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Planet Lodge or similar.
