Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro for Crater Tour After breakfast, pick up from the hotel with picnic lunch, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area for crater tour. Descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, Rhino, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south western corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Exit the crater and drive to Mto WA Mbu for dinner and overnight at Jambo public campsite. Activities: -Crater tour and game drive inside the conservation area. -Visit Maasai village Accommodation: Camping at Mto Wambu (with swimming pool) Meals: full board basis.
