The journey from Entebbe to Bwindi is cut from a day long one to only 2 hours (1 hour by flight and 1 hour by road) each way. This gives the clients more time to enjoy Bwindi impenetrable national park and its surroundings on the day of arrival. Clients may enjoy a visit to the Batwa people or a detailed community tour.

Gorilla trekking is the most enthralling wilderness experience and this you will enjoy with the company of experienced ranger guides. You will return to Entebbe as early as midday the next day. This gives you flexibility in choosing flights.

Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe Today you will arrive at Entebbe airport and you will be welcomed by your safari guide. Depending on your time of arrival, you may have an optional city tour of Entebbe town. You may also choose to visit Entebbe botanical gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education centre Meal plan: Bed & Breakfast

Day 2

Bwindi Impenetrable

Day 2: FLY TO KIHIHI, DRIVE TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST Early in the morning you will be transferred to Entebbe airport where you will take a flight to Kihihi airstrip where you shall be received by your safari guide. You will drive through the beautiful Ugandan countryside to the ancient rainforests of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Expect to arrive at our picturesque accommodation on the edge of the forest before lunch. You may enjoy numerous optional activities around the park. Meal plan: Full board

Day 3

Day 3: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI Begin your gorilla trek in the early morning, and set off into the tangled and mist-shrouded forests with guides and trackers who are very experienced at locating the gorillas by finding the nest the family had used the previous night. Watching gorillas in their natural habitat is a memory that will last a lifetime. The experienced ranger guides will willingly share with you a lot of information about history and lifestyle of the Gorillas. After spending an hour with the gorillas we head back to the lodge and relax. In the evening you may visit Batwa communities and get to learn about their culture and traditions. Day 4

Day 4: FLIGHT TO ENTEBBE AND DEPARTURE After breakfast you will be transferred to Kihihi airstrip to catch your flight back to Entebbe airport. In Entebbe you will check in for your departure flight back home Meal plan: Breakfast
