Lake Manyara

DAY 2 LAKE MANYARA After breakfast at your accommodation your driver-guide will pick you up from the hotel. Start driving to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing. “The loveliest I have seen in Africa" said the novelist Ernest Hemingway about Lake Manyara. The most famous habitants in the park are the tree-climbing lions. It is also a park with very high density of elephants and the home to some of the largest baboon troops in the world. The lake's high alkaline waters attract a variety of migratory waterbirds, including huge flocks of pink flamingos as well as pelicans, storks and cormorants. Picnic lunches at a location within the park. More game drive. Early evening exit the park and drive for your dinner and overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge or similar.

Serengeti

DAY 4 SERENGETI NP Full day of game drives in Serengeti. You can either take with you a packed lunch in the morning or return to your accommodation for a hot lunch followed by more game drive until early evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Tortilis Camp or similar.

Ngorongoro Crater

DAY 6 CRATER TOUR After breakfast around 6 am descend down the Ngorongoro Crater which is about 2000 feet deep and 14 miles wide. We will spend the day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater which is a World Heritage Site, home to nearly 25,000 animals, giving you a very real chance of spotting the Big 5 namely lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species. Witness the magnificent array of habitats, each with its own unique wildlife and flora. Lunch at the Crater floor. In the afternoon ascend the crater and drive for your dinner and overnight stay at Morona Hill Lodge or similar.

DAY 8 DEPARTURE Today our driver will drive you to the airport to catch your flight to your next destination.
