Itinerary
Day 1
Nyerere (Selous)
Day 1: Pick up from hotel or airport and begin your safari to Selous. This will be a 5 hours drive through the coastal region. Lunch boxes will be provided en-route. After a short rest, depart for the afternoon boat safari and overnight at Kinga Lodge, full board.
Day 2
Day 2: Start the day with a walking safari accompanied by an armed game ranger. This will take you through a wide part of the game reserve. Breathe in the intoxicating smell of the African bush: a mixture of the earth and the animals' odor. You will not only try to identify the different animal spoor but your guide will share with you his knowledge of the different flora in the reserve. The local people use some of these plants and trees for different medicinal purposes. Thereafter, proceed for a full day drive with a packed picnic lunch provided. Relax by the waterfall before returning to Kinga Lodge, full board for overnight on full board basis.
Day 3
Ruaha
Day 3: Take your flight to Ruaha National Park. On arrival, your vehicle and guide will be Waiting for you for the afternoon game drive and overnight at Ruaha Mdonya Old Camp, full board.
Day 4

Day 4: Early morning walking safari followed by after game drive and overnight at Ruaha Mdonya Old Camp, full board.

Day 5: Full day game drive and overnight at Ruaha Mdonya Old Camp, full board.
Day 6

Day 6: The drive from Ruaha National park to drive to the Tanzania/Malawi border and after the border and immigration formalities and visit to the Karonga Project Museum where hundreds of fossils from dating back from dinosaur times some 100 million years ago to the period of first humans, some 5 million years a 2.5 million-year-old lower jaw of Homo rudolfensis were found, overnight at Mikoma Beach Hotel bed and breakfast.
Day 7
Day 7: Depart early in the morning for Nyika National Park and to Chelinda Camp, overnight on full board basis
Day 8
Day 8&9: Game drive and overnight at Chelinda Camp. Option activities include walking and overnight at Camp on a full board basis
Day 10
Day 10: After breakfast departs for Makuzi Beach in Nkhata Bay. Overnight at Makuzi Beach Resort. Bed and breakfast
Day 11
Day 11: Day at leisure at Makuzi Beach, overnight at bed and breakfast.
Day 12
Day 12: In comparison to many other parts of Africa Malawi and is still much undeveloped and very African. Although there are big international supermarkets in the city, you will notice as you overfly Lilongwe villages surround the city. Walks around Lilongwe are very peaceful and people are very welcoming and friendly. The capital is divided into two areas: Old Town and New Town. The old townhouses residential areas, banks, shops, and the Lilongwe Market. New Town as the name suggests, you will find diplomatic missions, upmarket residents, NGO offices and governmental offices. The airport is 30 km from the Centre. Dinner optionally at the Hotel or in other restaurants in Town, overnight at Ufulu Gardens, overnight bed, and breakfast.
Day 13
Day 13: After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
